Small Stone #4: Lydia

To my gold plush stuffed bear:
I was just thinking about the afternoon we met.
My mother named you Lydia,
I wrapped you in a purple shawl,
And you saved the day.

"Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshipped God." Acts 16:14a (NKJV)

Beautiful story. I also read you enjoy drawing as well as writing. Me too. In fact I've been working in oils since I was twelve. Been writing stories since then too. I also lived in Arizona for a while. Interesting similiarities. Congratualtions on your marriage and blessings to your writing.

How cool that you're an artist and lived in AZ, too! I lived in Flagstaff for 5 years. Thanks for visiting my blog.
