We took the wreath down from the front door and unwound the burgundy garland from the terrace railing, but the uneven stack of Christmas cards will remain on the living room bookcase.
Finally getting a chance to read my favorite blogs. It is sad when all the glitter, sparkle and color of Christmas goes away. In some ways I wish we could keep it up all year. Our tree and and the trimmings came down a few days after Christmas...of course we were in the process of moving, so no luxury of leaving it all up for awhile....great idea of saving the cards for a while.
